FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 Q: What is builder gel?
A: Builder gel is a thick liquid gel that is used to create length, add thickness to, or strengthen the natural nail. Other names for builder gel include soft gel, gel extensions, gel X, gelly nails, and gelly tips.
Q: Should I get builder gel or acrylic?
A: It is entirely up to personal preference and what you are looking to get out of your nails. If you are in need of incredibly sturdy nails due to your job or other lifestyle factors, I would go with acrylic. Otherwise, I would recommend builder gel as it is healthier and less damaging for your natural nails.
 Q: What is shellac?
A: Shellac is a brand name of gel polish, in the same way that kleenex is a brand of facial tissue. Shellac and gel are different words for the same product, which is just gel polish.
Q: Do you do dip nails?
A: No, I do not. However, if you are looking for a non-acrylic alternative that will add strength to your natural nail without lengthening it, I would recommend trying a builder gel overlay.
Q: Do you do polygel nails?
A: No, I do not. However, if you are looking for a non-acrylic alternative that will add length to your nails, I would recommend trying a builder gel full set.
